Terms of Service

By using Grade Coach ("the service") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. These terms are plain-English on purpose, we'd rather you read them than skip them.

Who can use Grade Coach

Grade Coach is designed for teachers grading assignments they are authorized to grade as part of their teaching work. By uploading a paper you confirm you have the right to do so under your school's and your jurisdiction's rules.

Free and paid use

• Free: 10 credits per month with a free account, plus 10 lifetime credits per device without an account.
• Paid plans: Pro ($15/month) includes 500 credits. Power ($30/month) includes 1,200 credits. Subscriptions are processed via Stripe and reset on the billing-period anchor.
• Top-up: One-time $10 top-up adds 300 credits that never expire. Stackable. Credit costs per tool are shown on each tool page.
• Prices may change; the price in effect at the time of purchase applies.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Grade Coach only for legitimate classroom grading. Don't:

• Upload work you don't have the right to grade.
• Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or abuse the AI system.
• Use the service to harass, defame, or violate any person's rights.
• Use Grade Coach for anything outside teaching and assessment workflows.

AI output is a suggestion, you decide

Grade Coach is a coach, not the teacher. AI-generated grades, confidence scores, and comments are suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and assigning the final grade to each student. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fairness of any AI output, and you agree not to rely on it as the sole basis for an academic decision.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is." We don't warrant that grading will be error-free, that the site will always be available, or that output will meet any specific standard of accuracy. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Grade Coach and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Refunds

If Grade Coach fails to grade a paper you paid for, we'll refund the credit or make it right. For broader refund questions, get in touch via the contact form and we'll work it out case-by-case while we finalize a formal policy.

Privacy

Your students' work is private by default. See the Privacy Policy for what we collect, how long we keep it, and who we share it with.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
