Push to Google Classroom

Create an assignment in Google Classroom and push your draft grades back to it.

From a grade sheet you can create an assignment in one of your Google Classroom classes and push the grades back as drafts, matched to your students by name. You review and Return them in Classroom when you're ready.

How to push grades

  1. On the grade sheet, open Export and choose Push to Google Classroom.
  2. Connect your Google account if you haven't. On Google's screen, tick Select all so every Classroom permission is granted.
  3. Pick the Classroom course and confirm the assignment name.
  4. Push. Grade Coach creates the assignment and sets each matched student's grade as a draft. Open Classroom to review and Return them.

Good to know

  • Grades match students by name, so the names in Grade Coach should match your Classroom roster.
  • Anyone the AI couldn't match by name is listed so you can grade them by hand.
  • Grades push as drafts; nothing is shown to students until you Return it in Classroom.
You'll see "Grade Coach" (or your project's name) on the consent screen. The Classroom permissions are non-sensitive, so there's no extra verification step for you.
